Q: How do I unclog my drain, and why does it clog?
Oil and soap residue from beauty and food products are the most common culprits for clogged drains, so being careful about what you put in your sinks and showers is always a good idea. Chemical drain cleaners can be a good first step to unclogging drains.

Q: How can I check if I have a leak?
If you think you have a leak in your home, there’s an easy way you can check. Go out to your water meter and record the level. Make sure no one uses any water for a few hours, then go back and check the meter again (it’s easiest to do this when everyone goes to bed, then check it again first thing in the morning). If the level has changed, you probably have a leak – call 9-1-1 Plumbing to have it taken care of right away!

Q: My toilet is sluggish when it flushes. Why?
Could be a stoppage or lime deposits in the toilet.

Q: My toilet continually makes a noise. Why?
Either the flapper is leaking through. the flush valve is bad or the fill valve is bad.

Q: My garbage disposal broke down… what do I do?
